The Banker on Deal or no Deal - is it really Noel ?

I know its really unimportant and a rather stupid programme but does anyone else think that Noel just talks to himself when the banker rings and in fact Noel is the banker?

Was off yesterday with ds2 ill and was just musing whilst watching crap TV

I'm bumping this because I want to know too. Who is the banker?

There must be someone at the end of the line, as in the past some of the contestants have spoken to "him".

Noel once in the early days held the receiver to his microphone and "the banker" was laughing.

It's not Noel, it's me.

It's rumoured to be Glenn Hugill, when it first started he was listed in the credits as the banker.

I've heard it was Glenn Hugill as well - he grew up near where I live and the local paper outed him as the Banker at one point

And he was in Corrie for a while too - was going to get married to Fiona the hairdresser who went out with Steve too.
