What - nobody wants to talk about it? I appreciate it is on in the middle of the day, but there is Sky Plus.

It may be a bit low brow, but I love the emotional highs and lows, the drama, the cliff hangers, and the OTT reactions of the participants. What is not to like?

Makes me cry too , and I find some of the cliff hangers torturous waiting to see what happens next- like Tera pulling that race car around the track with all the extra weight in the boot that the other contestants had foisted upon her....and yet there she was steadily encroaching upon Sione's lead. Haven't seen today's episode yet with the conclusion to that event.

Have also developed an irrational dislike of Sione and his cousin after their unwarranted 'attitude' towards Jillian!

I've missed lots of this series because of the time it's on but I watched every episode of the last one. I am wondering how Shay is doing.....did you watch the finale of the last series? I couldn't help but think Tracy (ie, mrs competative) had gone a little too far.

O yes, I loved the last series, and yes I thought she looked awfully drawn tbh. It aged her terribly. But with the cash incentive, I'd be working out like a beast. The woman who eventually did win the runners up (was it Rebecca? I forget her name) looked amazing, and you could tell she loved getting one up on Tracey

I thought Rebecca was great too! She had a lovely personality, not at all bitchy like some of the others.

I'd be working out like crazy too for that amount of money but I think she built too much muscle which is not attractive/ not needed for good health and would actually add weight wouldn't it?
