Having been a long time luster fan of the beautiful RPJ and RA, I have always managed to keep it relatively in check until you lot came along. Your recent postings of all the gorgeous clips of these two have sent me to the edge of reason to the point where I would sell my soul for a night with either of them!

Yesterday I find myself near HMV and before I could blink I am now the owner of Persuasion and North & South on DVD. I stayed up til midnight (unheard of) last night watching Persuasion and now I am lost.

When will I regain control of my normal life?

You won't!Grin
RA is a God.

HowlingAtTheStripeyMoon · 31/10/2010 10:39

Gah! My family and work are suffering due to the worshipping of said God.

Perhaps I need to start picturing RPJ as Alan Sugar and RA as Piers Morgan -surely that should help?

Oh I see you are all in denial of your responsibility then??

You are an adult and must take responsibility for your own actions. I find your fascination with RPJ inexplicable, but you may find some Armitage-related help available here. [hgrin]

Can you not see it even in Persuasion? Confused.

I have also resorted to watching Vicar of Dibley just for extra footage of RA!

I am now going to be sucked into your thread, adult or not, how can anyone resist those eyes

I haven't seen that version of Persuasion. But I've been watching Spooks since it began and never felt the slightest tremor then.

Come and join the swoonathon.

Is it a blond thing? I like to give eevryone a chance-, blond and brooding, dark and brooding - all good for me [hgrin].

Well, here's a funny thing. I was going to say that it's because RPJ looks so young and boy-next-door. (I myself am Very Old and would not wish to be accused of cradle-snatching). But some in-depth research on Wikipedia reveals that he is in fact slightly older than Mr A.

I thought they were about the same, I guess he's not quite as rough and ready as RA, a bit smoother?
