did anyone notice that Lily's car seat was strapped in wrongly?

Yes! I was going to post exactly the same thing!
We had that carseat for DD, so both DH and I were screeching at the TV "it's back to front, you muppets!!"

Doubt Janine would have a clue how to put a car seat in though.

Given that janine has just kidnapped the baby and parked the car over a railway crossing...

perhaps the EE team were going for some realism in assuming someone so lacking in any maternal knowhow (or sanity) wouldn't understand the carseat thing.

Which makes me wonder where she got the car seat from?? Does she own one or did she manage to take that out of the Slater's house too, without being spotted????

I'm guessing it's easier to get out in a hurry that way around. But still!

Either way...I'm thinking this will be a short lived marriage!

It crossed my mind though, that they could quite possibly have this adventure and get the baby back upstairs before stace has stopped dancing...

What I want to know is - how did they end up on a railway crossing in a country lane if they were heading from the east end to dover - surely its all city streets, A roads and motorways??

she carried lily and the car seat down stairs so she obviously worked out how to strap her in surley she would of known to put the car seat in backwards. Also did anyone notice the pink t shirt baby on board window sticker.surely if it was pats car y would that be in there?

Janine would probably have stuck the baby in the boot if the Beeb hadnt wanted to avoid the deluge of complaints...

Tegan - janine hasn't been around babies so def wouldn't have known which way round to put the seat.

It didn't occur to me until you pointed it out, how quickly they went from no-stopping 'A' road to crountry crossing...

she may not of been around babies but she has nieces and nephews and also she lived with pat and roy when i think barry was married to a woman and they had a baby, she left and then janine married him and killed him off

thought it was rickys car - though gawd knows why ANYONE in ee needs a car as they all live and work in the square and have a minutes walk to work lol
