LOL, I like the fact that her 'sluts' pasta is for 'If you are a bit of a slattern who can't make it to market everyday for fresh produce....'

I think she has made herself into a total cliche/joke - this series is the final nail in the coffin. What a shame as her early books were so brilliant (How To Eat in particular)

The book is good, though - my sister got it for me, and the recipes are good. I watched this out of curiosity, but I think I don't like TV cheffery any more, except Masterchef.

DH and DS2 are watching it. DS1 came into room and said "oh god it's Nigella, no doubt she'll be doing something erotic to the cooking" I hope think he meant Exotic

It's a fine line where nige is concerned, I think.

Nige makes yet another tart out of crushed biscuits.
Nige assembles yet another thing with pasta based on stuff allegedly in her cupboards.
Nige makes a post-ironic chip butty.

I think really there's not a lot of point to this series.

Me and DH saw about 10minutes of this last night. We both commented on the flammability of her dressing gown and wondered if she would put an apron on.

Dh says I have her figure [hhmm] I'm not sure about her chest but I think I have her hips & behind [hshock]

I can't cope with the fake friends round for 'supper'. Also can't stand the word supper to describe dinner/tea.
