me too....which is why I have my laptop out and mumsnet up!!!

mind you...something might yet crash... Smile

I'm not enjoying this whole series. The only house I have liked is the lady whose husband died.

CerealOffender · 27/10/2010 21:43

i really liked last weeks

What is your all time best...?

i like the weird boat house one built from junk..wonder if it is still floating???

Meglet · 27/10/2010 21:44

They've bodged those gaps a bit haven't they.

CerealOffender · 27/10/2010 21:45

oh now you are asking - runs off to look at site

CerealOffender · 27/10/2010 21:46

actually i don't have to look. my favourite was the guy in the woods who built everything himself from the woods and clay.

Actually last weeks was quite good. I wasn't struck with her choice of furniture but the house was nice.

I really liked the one where it was a restoration which looked a bit like a stately home. It was a couple of years back.

fruitspooksandheBGBs · 27/10/2010 21:46

whats with the walls on legs?

brimfull · 27/10/2010 21:48

looks like an office so far

Unprune · 27/10/2010 21:49

CerealOffender, he was a bit like a bower bird, wasn't he?
He built a beautiful nest and he pulled in about tn minutes; before the year was out he had a lovely girlfriend and a baybee

Lydwatt · 27/10/2010 21:49

Was the guy in the woods the one where the walls were insulated with bales of straw?

that was a good one...

Last weeks was quite good. I also enjoyed Kevin's shock each time he returned to the one with the market hall they 'restored' by removing everything :)

CerealOffender · 27/10/2010 21:52

this one

The house in the woods is open to the public a few times a year IIRC. Ben wasn't it?

My favourite was that one and the one with the castle in Yorkshire, I think they run that as a B&B now.

Lydwatt · 27/10/2010 21:54

yep...thats the straw in the walls one! great stuff.

This one have nice views....

sailorsgal · 27/10/2010 21:54

Yes it was the castle that I really liked.

sailorsgal · 27/10/2010 21:56

Not sure about the lift. Hmm

Great views though.

Lydwatt · 27/10/2010 21:57

tears at the end...nice touch!

fruitspooksandheBGBs · 27/10/2010 21:58

why are all the houses loads of glass and no curtains? I wouldn't have great glass windows in my grand design...they look so cold and unfriendly yet all the designs have virtually a whole side of just glass.
I am just old fashioned perhaps and like to wander around halfdressed without upseting the neighbours

CerealOffender · 27/10/2010 22:12

tears! pah! that is so george clarke

with on the windows fruitspooks! I often wonder about the cost of curtain material Hmm

Next week's one looks quite dramatic!

DandyDan · 27/10/2010 23:03

I liked the eco one built from walls of old tyres.
