I was just looking at boxed sets for Christmas. I love Modern Family myself but have never watched Glee!! is it too old for a 9 year old girl?

Haven't seen modern family but Glee is quite adult. Not suitable for a 9 year old anyway.

thanks for that. I think Modern Family has something for everyone.

I love Glee btw Envy at your boxsets

Glee is a little bit adult but my 14 year old loves it so my 12 year old is inevitably watching now and also my 8 year old as difficult to ban him from the room although I don't think he understands too much and isn't giving it his full attention.

I just love Modern Family.

Manny is inspired. Him recording 2 hours of Antiques Roadshow! Grin

I think a nine year old would find some humour in Modern Family. I might try that one instead.

I love the one were Manny's pet gets killed!

There was a big storyline in Glee about a girl getting pregnant and there is a lot of stuff about sex that is I would say more in your face than in Grease.

kittya · 23/10/2010 19:54

ok, thanks for that. Sometimes the worry is not about the nine year old but for the younger siblings as they all tend to watch tv together. Better stick to Scooby Doo!

I think I will go with Modern Family. I watched the Madonna episode of Glee last night. I loved it but it was too old for her. Thanks!!

I let dd1 watch the songs in glee and things like the competitions but it's heavily censored by me! You'd have to watch it with her, imo.

I dont think I could put myself through it!!
