Just switched on five minutes ago. Kind of not what I expected.

I was thinking the same. Was expecting more of a dramatisation than a docu-drama

Yeah exactly. This is a boring approach to take for a hypothetical situation.

Some of it is so sad, I had no idea [thick icon] that they were such brutal monsters. Felt like screaming at the TV to pay the money and get him out.

It's been strangely addictive viewing hasn't it?

Frightening stuff!

Addictive but harrowing. I'll need to watch something trite before going to bed or I'll be lying in bed dwelling on it...

Well I thought it was utterly boring and I'm (kind of, a little) in that line of work!

To be honest, I was fearful it was going to be littered with inaccuracies and all sorts so only watched about 15 minutes of it. Maybe I should have given it more slack, but I was put off when I saw him survive a helicopter crash with a small head wound. I know they weren't to bothered on how it led to him being captured, it made my mind wander and then I realised I had some shelves to put up

I might give it another go on 4OD soon...

The beginning was pretty boring, it got better in the second half. I hated that clip of the hostage who was crying and asking to be saved, I was terrified watching that poor man.

Was quite about Prince Harry telling the ambassador that he was just an ordinary soldier who didnt' want special treatment, while being in a hostage situation and having a gun pointed at him. If there ever is a time to use your position and influence to get out of something that would have been the right time!
