Only watched 2 episodes but find it quite boring.

Is it one that grows on you? Normally I love sitcoms.

I don't know I love it straight away. I find the characters really endearing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/10/2010 13:30

agree 2nd series isnt as good as the first :(

might take off sky + planner

undercovamutha · 16/10/2010 13:38

I love it!

MrsJohnDeere · 16/10/2010 13:56

Love it! Hadn't even heard of it until a few days ago then bought the series 1 dvd after some MN/Twitter chat raving about it.

Very funny.

Haven't watched any of series 2 though yet.

tegan · 16/10/2010 18:49

We all love it in our house even dd2 who is 6 finds it funny.

I think mainly because we can relate to the things that happen within the oddly functional/disfunctional family

Goandplay · 16/10/2010 19:12

I love it. Think it's very funny but some of the funnier stuff is underlying - quirks and such.

I'd say stick with it - some of the funniest stuff I have every watched has taken a while for me to catch the drift if you know what I mean.

kittya · 16/10/2010 22:48

I loved it from episode one. I would say if you dont get it now you probably wont.

Im like that with Inbetweeners, I put myself through it again last night and didnt laugh once.

hackingandhewing · 16/10/2010 23:12

I love the advert on this week with Cameron being all British.

"Gawin on oliday" !!!

BerryLellooooooooooow · 17/10/2010 18:56

I've not caught much of the new series but DP and I can often be found saying

'Go around...we're recreating a faux pas!'

:o

potplant · 17/10/2010 21:06

I love it. It's one of the funniest programmes I've ever seen. We record it so we can watch it more than once.

Perhaps you need to have watched all the first series to get some of the jokes?

SiennaMillerusesBotoxFiller · 17/10/2010 23:27

Oh gosh I love it and find myself really guffawing out loud- my 6 year old loves it too.

I agree that the characters are very endearing, Gloria(the star IMO) Cameron, brilliant!

kittya · 17/10/2010 23:57

No, Manny is the star!!

I cant rave about it enough.

I do think it should be watched from the beginning though.

SiennaMillerusesBotoxFiller · 18/10/2010 10:16

Kittya, my son is Manny so I get enough of him at home Grin

1234ThumbScrew · 18/10/2010 10:17

Love it, loved it straight away - dd1 (11) thinks it's hilarious.

SiennaMillerusesBotoxFiller · 18/10/2010 10:17

Did anyone see the episode in the old family car? Where they picnic on the hill like the old days?

One of the best bits of slapstick I have ever seen. In fact my morning has been crap but thinking of that has really cheered me up :-)

potplant · 18/10/2010 19:01

Phil is the star.

Hassled · 18/10/2010 19:03

It's the highlight of my TV week. Claire is the star, and then Mitchell. I love Mitchell.

kittya · 18/10/2010 19:29

Isnt some of it improvised? Im sure I read that somewhere.

Much better than our own boring Outnumbered.
