When they were first talking about the body in the river they said he was taken from an Open Prison. They have just said that he was taken from Dartmoor, that isnt an Open Prison is it??

its quite gory - i watched the last series but perhaps my memory is failing and that was just as gory

I wanted to watch it. I've been watching The Krays movie,coincidentally,and forgot about it.

I´ve taped it to watch in the day

Hello I'm a newbie here :)

I watched Whitechaple last night and was shocked at the lack of women in their detective force e.g. in the first 8 minutes it showed an awards ceremony celebrating top brass or heroism or something, there was not 1 female in the entire room even the servers were male.

And then later in the programme when they werer looking for volunteers I don't remember seeing any female detectives, I may be wrong about this as I was moaning to my husband at the time and not really paying full attention.

I just think it felt very 1970's Macho old school police television, infact I was rather shocked that the coroner was a a female.

Sorry I've just ranted on a bit there

Finally got around to watching it.

So, there was a guy doing maintanance when the ceiling was leaking-he heard the young policeman-Kent(?) mocking the Krays, so I guess he´ll be responsible for what happened to him.

And the one that´s taken over the case-he just looks the part of the "bent" copper!

Saw this last night - bit disappointed as liked the previous series.

diddl you're so right. Never thought of the ceiling fixer but reckon you're spot on.

I'm convinced the maintenance guy installed some kind of bugging device.
Possibly because RPJ was in Spooks and it's a spy thing to do.

by the way my MIL has met the rupert actor that was in spooks, and we once had his nans curtains

I hope that's not a euphemism!
