why on earth did they bring the new girl in? In New York, surely it was fairer to bring in an original contestant.

Its has an edge over the British one, I dont know what it is.

The screeching bugs me though.

I have to watch it on sky+ so that I can fast forward through the endless bitching.

It obvioulsy has got some kudos (in the fashion world) now that they have brought on André Leon Talley; he is definitely the only reason they kept the young girl Alassia (who is obvioulsy clueless!)

Did anyone else want to slap Monsieur Talley for the way he'd use a french word and then condescendingly translate it - ie "Derriere - that's butt to you"? I got the impression he really wanted to make a big impression on the show, and to make sure everyone listened to HIM!

Did anyone else think that Nigel's nose was a bit out of joint now that Andre is on the panel? He seemed rather out of sorts - he wasn't even sleazing over Tyra or any of the girls!

Hes lost weight as well.

Andre is just another gay boyfriend of Tyra's though isn't he? Yet I've no idea who he is, am I meant to?

And what about that black woman who had the wig at the beginning? She seems slightly unhinged. her photo was rather pornographic/fit for Zoo magazine.

Where they really butt naked or did they have flesh coloured underwear on? Im saying the latter. I cant see they modelling legs akimbo with everything exposed can you? my friend is convinced they were. It would be cruel and pornographic, you dont see models in adverts with their chuffs showing.

Actually Andre is an amazing coup for the show, since it's never produced any real models and is considered a bit of a joke in the States.
He's the editor at large of Vogue USA and is Anna Wintour's best pal.

It was hilarious because Tyra was so sucking up to him and Nigel was hating every second of it. That'll teach him to be in love with himself.

I don't get why they cast 24 year olds who look like washed out hookers. Models need to be 18ish to get a chance at a career.

I got so sick of the Tyra worshipping that I didn't watch the last series for shorties.

It always amazes me that some of the girls are uncomfortable or shocked at the thought of getting their tits/bits out. It's pretty obvious they're going to have to at some point as a model on the show.

Haven't seen the last episode yet, though as I sky plus it too and condense it down to 1/2 an hour.

I don't like Thin Tyra. I hate the constant screaming and clapping but it's the best out of all the TM franchise.

I cant believe that they were totally naked with their legs akimbo in their first shot. Ive never seen any real life adverts showing all of that.
