X factor Matt Cardle

Just found out that Matt Cardle is in an unsigned band called Seven Summers, downloaded the album on itunes and it is FAB enjoy!
Am now wondering if him doing the X Factor is a very clever publicity launch, when do the contestents have to sign over thier souls to the devil (SC)???

Same as Katie but her deal is in the US. She's called another name though (it escapes me at the moment) but her deal was already attached to Simon Cowell.

Matt seems a genuinely very nice guy and he has a lovely voice. I hope he lasts a while.

He does seem a nice guy but his voice sounds strained and forced to me. I don't like the way he goes into falsetto.
