what was going on with david in corrie, was he going to rape tina?

Nothing happened really, David moved in for a kiss, Tina then pushed him away and got up David walked after her and some how he accidentally fell on top of her, he then had hold of her wrist and told her he still loved her.

Tina then responded by saying " what ya gonna do David, rape me?"

David then looked shocked and walked out.

Yeh i mean there was loads of hype all over the mags and papers that "DAVID ATTACKS TINA"
OK if that was an attack then corrie really have dropped the ball a bit

It was all a bit strange tbh, Im not suprised David looked so shocked and walked out because seriously what made Tina come out with a remark like that??!!??

It was a little more aggressive than 'accidentally fell on top of her', I think. I think his shock was more at what he had just done/what he might have gone on to do than at what she said - I think her mentioning the word 'rape' shocked him back to reality, iyswim.
