I think it is a spoof. The agent guy was like someone from Extras. Was waiting for Ricky Gervais to pop out!

Trinny is so much better at the spoofy acting than Susannah...

They must be getting desprate for work. Would they not be better at sticking with what they were doing? I know there's Gok Wan but I thought they were really good at what they did.

I don't think they'll be offered any acting jobs after this!

Oh I think it's fab. Just what the doctor ordered. And Gok is a poor, poor substitute for their general marvellousness.

Made me think of "Ab Fab" without any bar on swearing.

It has to be a spoof, rather like that show of Michael Aspel and his 50 "love children" - otherwise it would be commercial suicide...

Spoof or no spoof, I don't think it's going to assure their commercial survival!

Susannah's lips are a bit scary

Very true, madamefreckle - but perhaps Channel 4 just did this for some fun - never know quite what sort of deal (financially) is done for any of these 'fly on the wall' shows that take months to shoot...

For all we know, they may have made enough to simply retire without needing to work any more. I guess some of the stars have only continued working from ego, because they surely don't need the cash any more (unless they've gone through a messy, expensive, divorce or three)...

Anyway, I went off to the 'science of beauty' website in the middle (the 'filler' aka ad-mercial) and wonder who managed to get the spelling of Anna Richardson's surname wrong!).

hilarious, absolutely hilarious, did take me a few minutes to realise it was a total piss take.

I thought it was brilliant. Really liked the celebrity pop ups as well and the whole idea that they don't take some selves to seriously is a great pr stunt.

I really enjoyed it (although didn't expect to). I wanted to put my foot through the TV at some of the adverts though .
