DVD recommendation for poxy children?

Chicken pox that is.

Granny wants to get my 2 1/2 year old a DVD to cheer him up and while away the hours on the sofa.

Any favourites/recommendations? Mickey Mouse Club sort of thing?

But for the love of god, NOT CBEEBIES! If I have to watch a second more of it I WILL hurt myself

My 2.5yr old DS loves the old Mr Men and Little Miss cartoons, you can get a combined box set on Amazon for a few quid.

Peppa Pig is a sure fire guarantee of happiness in our house.

Little einsteins

Also does your library hire them out?

Haliborange · 30/09/2010 20:36

Pingu! He cures all ills.

Neut! Neut!

nannynobnobs · 30/09/2010 20:45

I definitely second Pingu. You get LOADS on the DVD too and they really are funny to watch. DD2 obviously finds it hilarious when he wees all over the floor, or is really naughty and gets spanked. They all end up with hugs though :o

Sesame Street box set! You'll actually enjoy watching it too, for nostalgia if you grew up on it, or for its brilliance if you didn't.

Second the library. It's a treat being ill in our house - poxy child sends deputation to library! Another yes for peppa pig, and chuggington

Library a great idea... thanks for all your suggestions!
