I'm suprised no-one appears to be watching and discussing True Blood or have you all got sky?

it is so good although last night when Eric and pals tucked into LaFayette was a bit too gruesome for me.

cordonbleugh · 24/09/2010 19:54

MamaVoo · 24/09/2010 20:05

I need to find out who plays Eric and what else he has been in. How is it possible for a person to be that sexy? How?

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:07

MamaVoo - Alexander Skarsgard, age 34 also been in Generation Kill. He is Swedish, from a family of actors, his father is Stellan Skarsgad (was in Mama Mia). Not that I'm obsessed or owt.

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:08

And I have also just finshed watching season 3 on Sidereel.com. God I love True BLood!!

MamaVoo · 24/09/2010 20:09

Thanks peggotty :)

susitwoshoes · 24/09/2010 20:10

I;m loving it. Hope that Jason gets over his religious fixation soon, feels a bit weird him not shagging at least 2 women every episode.

A (female) friend of mine knows Alexander Skarsgard, how exciting is that!

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:10

No probs Mama, have you read any of the books - the Eric Northman character is HAWT!!

MamaVoo · 24/09/2010 20:22

I read the first couple but didn't enjoy them half as much as the tv series. I think whoever did the screenplay is the real genius.

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:27

Yes the series is actually better, I agree, but the books are good for a bit of lighthearted escapism.

Wilts · 24/09/2010 20:32

Another True Blood fan here as wellGrin I have just finished season three too.

MarsLady · 24/09/2010 20:33

It's fabulous and it is so far from the books that I'm able to enjoy both.

Eric in the book is so much more horny than the Eric on the screen. Grin

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:36

susittwoshoes -SPILL!!!! what's he like then?!?! [Over-excited emoticon]
Marslady - i agree, it is possible to see the book and series as two separate entities.

Wilts · 24/09/2010 20:40

I always felt irrationally aggrieved that Alexander Skarsgard was in lady Ga Ga's paparazzi video.

I love him as Eric, in fact I just love him Blush

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:43

Oh Wilts, me too! [whispers] have you read any of the Eric fanfictiion?

Wilts · 24/09/2010 20:44

peggotty- No I have not, do I just google it?

peggotty · 24/09/2010 20:47

Yes, ericnorthman.net has some good stuff. Prepare to have to have a cold shower though!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 24/09/2010 20:48

Ive just finished watching season 3.
I dont know what to do with myself on Monday nights now!

susitwoshoes · 24/09/2010 21:01

oh god, I can't remember - she told me this ages ago, before it was on TV. Her (now ex) boyfriend met him while travelling a few years back.

sorry, that was all a bit teasing, wasn't it

peggotty · 24/09/2010 21:09

Oh fgs suwitwoshoes, that was all fur coat and no knickers!! He spent a bit of time here in sunny Leeds as a student apparently. Actually he was rather geeky looking as a younger man, much prefer him nowadays (obsessed? not me!)

And good grief, put down the Breaking Dawn and move away from it - you need the True Blood books, you will never look back (trust me, I have 'done' the Twilight books!)
