I totally agree and i'm very rarely a critic of Eastenders but this is one thing that's really annoyed me.
I mean it wasn't 2 minutes ago he was begging Billy for cash because he felt like his whole body was aching, or something down those lines, and now he's all goody, goody clean....

def crap tv, it just doesn't work like that - and he wouldn't sit simply behind a curtain - he would be demented/tearing place apart/hallucinations etc
