Anyway, will anyone else be watching this to find out how Tony Warren created Corrie??

Have seen a preview ( journalist) -it is stunning and fabulous and made me cry.

Have just rechecked my TV guide and it's on at 9pm. Sorry about that!

I watched this and it was bloody excellent, I can't believe how good Jessie Wallace was. :)

They were all fab. Pippin's mummy was fantastic as Ena Sharples...

I thought this was excellent. Made me nostalgic for the days of old Corrie, (even though I was born in the seventies) when soaps didn't have to rely on sensationalism to get ratings.

Yep - actually you made me realise. I loved soaps growing up, but never watch them any more...

Was loving all the references to Dickens and speech patterns of men and women etc etc - not the least bit of scandal just extraordinary characters in ordinary situations, rather than the present day extreme characters in freakish situations...
