The house made me think of a Visitor Centre in a woodland park.

The idea of a house in the trees is very romantic but MIL's house is like that, and in reality it means that all the natural sunlight gets blocked out and it always feels a bit cold and dank - even on hot days.

I do like Kevin though. Who was it who said they thought of him as their tv dad? Some comedian I think.

Just caught the repeat, did the 180, 000 include price paid for the bungalow?

What do people think?

zisforzebra · 22/09/2010 22:01

Not sure. I like the eco-ness of it though.

A No from me

sethstarkaddersmum · 22/09/2010 22:08

elements of it are nice but it's not exactly my dream house.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/09/2010 22:12

I didnt like the bathroom and not sure about the barn being kept but in general I think I really liked it. lots of space and had a 'safe' feeling about it. don't think you could put a cat flap in though.

aristocat · 22/09/2010 22:56

a no from me too - did you hear Kevin say the wall was held together with 'cow lick' Grin .....

mousymouse · 23/09/2010 08:51

I like the house but not the interior. too clinical (hospital basement) for me.
good for her to pull it off so well without a major hitch!

MmeLindt · 23/09/2010 08:57

Portofino
Can you not get British TV? We had sat dish, and now through the Internet provider.

Did not like last night's house, the interior was like a 1980s built office of a Marketing Agency.

DoNotFeedMeBiscuits · 23/09/2010 22:39

thought last night's house was a bit show-offy and like an underground carpark. She was also very annoying, and why do people build these completely un-child friendly houses that are entirely white, and where have their children gone by the end of the programme?
