Does anyone else watch ZingZillas every morning?

I know it might sound sad, but I've actually grown to LOVE that programme. My kids are into it, obviously, but I now find myself humming all the Big Zings as I'm pottering round the house. The songs are SO well made and catchy, much better than all the other stuff you get on CBeebies. (I think it's the same people that did Space Pirates, another show we loved.)

Does anyone know if they are going to put out an album of the songs? I can't be the only one who would love to have it for the kids (and me!) to sing along with in the car.

I think they are going to release an album, they already released a single.

If you are really sad/geeky/bored, you can use recording software in conjunction with the iPlayer or YouTube. I have just recorded some songs in translation for DS (who's being brought up bilingual, so my pirating ingeniousness has the patina of mummy-virtue!) in this way. I use freeware Audacity recording software, and there's a LAME encoder which will make either an .mp3 or .wav file (the latter good for making a real CD).

You can pre-order the DVD from the BBC shop but I would love a CD too....

I love Zingzillas too. (And I liked Space Pirates.)
It's the fact that they have real music.

I do like that 'Disaster!' thing. Now every time someone announces something bad or complains about something I am desperate for three singing birds to pop up and go 'Disaster!'

Banks & Wag are the composers, they do Zingzillas and used to do Space Pirates. Think it is Chris Banks who mainly does the kids tv stuff.

I like Zingzillas almost as much as my kids do! We all really love the rock one, my son puts it on, on the cbeebees website, we turn it up LOUD! I'll be getting the CD!

This show has grown on me and now I love it. Makes DS (2) very happy. He was dancing to the rock band episode today. We want the DVD.

I effing hate it! DH keeps complaining, saying 'I bet no children like it' I tell him they do, but I dont understand myself.
I should like it, it has all the makings of a great show - music and monkeys! - but it really grates

I cannot even be in the same room whilst this is on. My 5 yr old keeps coming over to me, explaining "the plot", when it's on. She wants me to like it so much.

The music is great. The monkeys less so.
I really don't like Pansy or Drum because I hate their hair. I think it's because it reminds me of an anemone.

Awww, that sounds very sweet, said. I remember feeling a similar anathema to one son's pokemon phase. He was adorably desperate for me to love them too and I really tried but I just couldn't...

My 3 yr old adores them can't wait for the album its out on the 4th october from all good shops through little demon records. :)
