Anyone watching? I know the first host Parveen by several degrees of separation (my MIL is going to a party hosted by her on Friday too) and am wondering what your opinions are!!!

I sort of watched (distracted by grizzly baby and MNetting. ) I thought her food looked great, but thought her inidication that she would not eat whatshisname's food, because he found hers too spicy really petty and vindictive.

Did not really mind her pretending the wine beer had alcohol in it (I do not imagine anyone would have been fooled though... have you tasted that shite?) but that also seemed a little odd. Why not just say that she would not serve it due to her beliefs or preferences?

I know - I thought that too. But I did think Ali was a bit of a cow, there will be rows before the end of the week!!

She was probably just seeing if they could tell or not, I would do the same!

I agree about Ali,.,. she was the one going on and on about Parveen having 'help' wasn;t she?

Also... I can never understand this... on CDWM you often get people who are very very conservative about food and what they will try or have tried (spice for example... the vermicelli dessert), yet they are supposed to be foodies of some sort if they are keen on giving dinners!!!!

I have to say though, I thought Parveen's food looked gorgeous.

I thought she had a tough time with Ali's constant harping about the butler/waitress, and the other guy moaning about the food being too spicy.
On the other hand, I thought it was a bit much to not serve alcohol just because she doesn't drink, and I do actually think it is cheating when people have help, whether that is to cook it or serve it.
They were bloody nosy in her wardrobe though! I know they often do go through wardrobes, but that red box they got out looked to me like it had been deliberately hidden, so the guests should have respected that.

Does anyone remember that episode with the GORGEOUS wannabe actress in it, who actually got a local restaurant to do the lot, won and did not let on that she had had help?

That was awful i thought.... not really playing the game!

I agree about Ali going on and bloody on.

I think the going thru wardrobes really sucks though.
