I was wondering if a kind soul could explain last night's episode on BBC4 for me?! I didn't understand the motive.......thanks in advance!

I think he was a smuggler/antiques dealer but his wife found out and confronted him.

agreed. I enjoyed it, but wasn't quite sure how he ever thought he'd get away with it. And what happened to the taxi driver...surely he must have been facing a few traffic violations!

I'm glad I wasn't alone in not understanding it. The taxi driver appeared to be irelevant in the enquiry!

There is no way a taxi driver would behave like that was a bit silly tbh.

Did anyone else think there was a lot of homoerotic undertones in this episode?
