He is based on a real Joe Dubois though...

I tried to watch Medium. It was good for about 5 episodes. Then I realised it's so similar every week and decided it was pants.

SEcond series a bit better. I hung in through the first one but the second did improve.

It makes me laugh the way she has to wake up differently everytime!

Yes, I also think he is the perfect husband. Gorgeous, considerate, wise, calm in a crisis but also believable.
I do quite like this show but does anyone also find Patricia's characterisation a little odd - as in her delivery of her lines is so monotone and her face so deadpan. Could it be botox or just the way the character is meant to be?

he speaks with a slur - like hes had a stroke - some programmes i wonder if hes a secret alchy off set.
