Can anyone remember the name of this Drama

Can anyone assist me with the name of a Drama I remember in the late seventies I think.

I recall it ran over 3 nights and was about a deaf girl who ran away from home and ended up in prostitution. It was quite a violent drama and the name of the programme may have been her name. I'd really like to look it up on IMDB

Thanks Emma, but that's a recent programme. The one I'm thinking of was first aired around 1978.
