Do you mean 'one foot in the grave'? Don't remember, but there is a similar feel to both shows (one foot was funnier).

This series has really grown on me and I'm finding it very touching. Is difficult to watch at times, very sad yet hopeful.

Yes, one foot in the grave. One of the very few episodes I saw was set in the bedroom, just the two of them, discussing a child who had died. Very very similar in tone, language, everything...

Brilliant writing and acting all round. The best thing Dawn French has done for a while.

Wonder if they'll do another series.
