Yes, I was finding it hat way too at the end.

this made me cry too. What a lovely thing to do for a family. I love DIY SOS.

why were the family living apart? i only saw the ending.

I really enjoyed this one. DIYSOS is one of my fave programmes.

SEA - They started renovations then the man was made redundant so they had no money. Then the woman got ulcerative colitis (or something like that) and had to have chemo. The family were living apart as the house was so bad the children couldnt live there and they went to live with the grandparents. It was like that for 2 years!!

I howled at the start, througout and again (worse) at the end. This programme always gets me, but I was a mess by the end of this episode!
