Is anyone else watching THE BIGGEST LOSER (USA)?

Dh and I have become tragically addicted to it! We were gutted when Pastor Shaun left a few weeks ago. I can't believe Tracey is still in it, she's SO annoying although Coach Mo was a bit of a wet lettuce so didn't mind him going.
Also if I hear Shay bleating on about how it needs to be MY TIME, all about me etc etc I will be forced to punch something. It was only this week we found out she had a husband and step children, in all her woe is me (and don't get me wrong she had a shite time fair enough) she forgot to mention she now has a family who love her!

Right, since I could easily be waffling onto myself if no-one else watches (admits to watching) I'll stop.

Oh one more thing...

I love Bob.

I'm watching it too, addicted! I really liked Pastor Shaun and Antoine too, but I want Tracey to be kicked out, she is so false and devious, and a but creepy! I felt sure they would get rid of her at the first opportunity, even though Coach Mo said he wanted to go.

I quite like all the other people in it really, although Shay does go on; I thought too she was all alone in the world until this week. I would like Abbey to win - what a terrible thing to happen to her, but I don't think she will. Think Danny or Rudy will be the winner - imaging losing a stone in a week!!

Rudy is a MACHINE! He just drops such huge numbers every week. Not sure about Danny although he does have a huge amount to lose - he seems so lovely bless him and his ENORMOUS stomach!
Tracey is creepy - what is with her hair and those starey eyes...weird!
Oh Abbey just makes we want to cry everytime I think about what happened to her, unspeakable, how she is even functioning from today is beyond belief, what a strong lady. Not sure she'll win because she isn't thaaaat huge compared to some of the others but I can't imagine anyone wanting to vote her out either.

Did you watch last season, Bob cried when Sione had to leave his team. Awwww... that's why I love Bob. Although Jillian's 'do you know what I see when I look at you on that treadmill....dead dad' shock tactics did make dh and I laugh.

Dh and I are very scared of the Doctor who assesses them. We are pretty sure he is a serial killer in his spare time.

Yes, I'm sure the others think Tracey is a witch or something, so uncanny how she got control over those two occasions, and how two-faced is she! I'm not sure if Liz will put her money where her mouth is and get rid, as she said she would when she and Danny were split up, after all she had every opportunity when Coach Mo was nominated, perhaps she's just waiting for the right moment? Plus of course she wouldn't be wanting to say all she thinks about Tracey then have her not go!

I would much prefer to have Bob train me than Jillian, I wouldn't respond well to her tactics! Dead Dad indeed!! Well it did work though, and she does have compassion where it's deserved, as with Daniel this week. How could he do all that and put a pound on? Bodies and weight are just a mystery to me!

A mystery to me too unless Daniel had been indulging in some secret midnight feasts!
I'm not sure about Liz, dh reckons she will definitely stab Tracey in the back at some time. I think once they are playing for themselves she won't struggle to cut Tracey loose.
I'm thinking of buying that 30 day shred DVD that Jillian does, I think she might scare me into exercise I am so lazy and unfit and yet dh and I sit happily and judge when the contestants are whineing about how hard it is in the gym!
Who do you want to see go next (apart from Tracey of course?) It's that blond girl who isn't Abby for us, she's pretty dull I think, dh always says she's WEAK!

You're a brave one! I hadn't heard of that DVD, I too am very lazy, I just couldn't do all that gym work without collapsing in a sobbing heap, but curiously made me think I could/ should go out for a gentle run. Haven't yet though . My DH bought me the Wii game of Biggest Loser and it nearly killed me, quite fun though in a horrible sort of way!

Yes, I agree, Amanda could go next, after Tracey, as the she doesn't lose enough to be able to stay long term, (judgey I know) and I would be more than happy to lose 5-6lbs per week, but if I had to do all that exercise I'd want 8 or 9 at least!! Maybe then Rebecca (the one who keeps crying?)

Yes, if I was working that hard I'd want to lose more than 5lbs a week but like you were saying, if I was doing Weight Watchers or something like that I'd be over the moon with 5lbs! It's funny because Amanda doesn't look that big in the house but when she went home and you saw her with her friends you could see how big she really is.

Thankfully I have managed to stay away from this one, only just got over the addiction to biggest looser Australia - spent almost 2 solid days catching up after a holiday and decided I ought to do some other things in life! Not sure this will be a long term resolution though, I miss it!!

PS If you love Bob, you must watch the next Australia, Shannon is really fit!!!

I do Slimming World and lose in half pounds if I'm lucky, so have no right to think losing 5 just isn't good enough!! Sympathised with Daniel, I often lose nothing or put on and get that 'how the hell did that happen?' face on, bless him!

Only today I spent half an hour contemplating applying for the new UK series with DH. Since watching it, DH and I have both lost weight as it helps motivate us (saddos emoticon)! Sadly, you have to be able to "leave your life behind for 8 weeks - no work, no children."

I did seriously consider it but I have no idea how people manage to leave thier lives behind for that long.

I watch biggest loser USA, but only this series because I too was addicted to Australian one which was fab (although couldn'tget my head around KG's)

Ihope Tracey goes, although I can't believe her luck. I like Alan and Abbie as a pair - but not sure if they'll make it f=too far.I love the programme but do get frutrated sometimes when it turns into a popularity contest

Oh God I watch every episode, have done for years...I'm addicted to every version regardless of country.

I could never go on it as I would die if they made me wear cycling shorts and crop top...I am very, very large.

It is very motivational though, I tend to exercise whilst watching it
