Did anyone else watch this last night? What did you think?

Maybe just me then. Better than I thought it would be but majorly disappointing when he took his clothes off....

It was pretty awful. It didn't seem to know what it was. They were trying to do Dempsey & Makepeace/ Moonlighting style bickering/chemistry - with a touch of the Doctor and Donna - and it didn't come off. The trappings of iPhones and plasma TVs aside, it could have been made in 1981.

DW and I came in late and spent half an hour debating whether they were supposed to be police officers or bumbling private detectives. We literally had no idea.

Still, maybe it will be Lucy's turn to go topless next week. :)

It was rather old fashioned.... but I liked that.
It had some very funny lines - both dp and I laughed out loud a lot.
I love Toby Stephens (he is a most handsome man ) and I thought his delivery was hysterical.
Fluffy nonsense. But what's wrong with that?

I thought it was good, DP and I started watching about 15mins in only cos nothing else was on.

agree that it didn't seem to know what it was, or is that us just trying to pigeon-hole? Couldn't stop looking at Toby Stephens un-ginger hair...dyed or wig? Thought his accent and delivery was a bit off. Some elements funny might give it another go.

He sounded as if he was trying to be Australian. Very odd.
