I think is one of greatest sitcoms on :)

Me, me, me...
I love Sheldon!
I unfortunately can relate to it too, I'm a Physics graduate, who shared a house at uni witthe other Physicists (all male)!

lal123 · 07/08/2010 19:09

DP unfortunately

pebblejones · 07/08/2010 19:09

That should say with three other Physicists!

suiledonne · 07/08/2010 19:10

Just started to get into it and have Sky+ it on E4 and another channel. I really like it but it is annoying to be watching it the wrong order.

It is something I would think of getting a box set of.

Sheldon is one of the best characters on TV for years. The episode where he was learning Chinese was hilarious.

UserNameAngst · 07/08/2010 19:11

I really love it too. Though IRL am a bit reticent about admitting it!

pebblejones · 07/08/2010 19:11

They are all PhDs now, except me... Only have MSc... Gawd does that make me Howard!

KiwiKat · 07/08/2010 19:13

I ADORE Sheldon!

kayah · 07/08/2010 22:58

Sheldon's great - I think second series he is more developed than first one.

agree it is good to watch it in order to understand some of the jokes
and as they are only 20 min episodes it doesn't take that long to catch up

I hope one weekend to sit and watch all of them in one go...

some my mates at uni were like them:)

Me and DH both love it.

Cracks me up when sheldon does the door knocking 'penny, penny, penny, penny'

Flamesparrow · 08/08/2010 12:00

Love it

PersonalClown · 08/08/2010 12:15

BBT addict here!

KiwiKat · 08/08/2010 14:13

Although I do find Leonard a little whiney. (Scared face, in case there's a 'we love Leonard, leave him alone' uprising)

kayah · 08/08/2010 15:29

I was hoping Leonard would calm down once he's with Penny :)

differentID · 08/08/2010 15:45

Love it.

Hai1988 · 08/08/2010 16:30

Yeh love it, sheldon is there greatest Grin
Really hope Leonard and penny get back together tho

twolittlemonkeys · 08/08/2010 16:33

Another BBT addict here. I love it and it cracks me up. I can really relate to it as I married an astrophysicist and DS1 is totally a mini Sheldon (and he's only 4!) We tend to sit down to watch one episode and watch 3 or 4 in a row (on DVD) as we can't stop Grin

LittleCheesyPineappleOne · 08/08/2010 16:34

We love it here. It's such a grower - I now think it's pretty much the funniest thing on TV. The characters are so sympathetically drawn - I love them all and want to mother them... Sheldon in particular - he's brilliant.

mansionhouse · 08/08/2010 16:45

WE've just been at lunch discussing whether Leonard and Penny are right for each other.

LittleCheesyPineappleOne · 08/08/2010 16:52

aww I think they are. Penny is kind and sensible, and Leonard is responsible and sweet; I think they're made for each other; they complement each other so well.

FortunateHamster · 08/08/2010 16:58

Love it. It's refreshing to watch something so geeky and yet quite accessible, and you can tell there are some genuine geeks writing for the show. Love Sheldon, too. Raj is a close second favourite :)

LittleCheesyPineappleOne · 08/08/2010 17:03

I love the fact that (apparently - what would I know?) the formulae on the whiteboard changes in a logical fashion over the series. They have Proper Physicists helping out apparently.

seaturtle · 08/08/2010 22:52

Love it!

101damnations · 08/08/2010 23:14

DH and I love it too.Does anyone remember Leonard when he was Darlene's boyfriend in 'Roseanne'? Bizarre that he has a fling with the same actress in BBT.

Squitten · 09/08/2010 08:50

Yep, love it. Sheldon is the vital part for me though, wouldn't be half so good without Jim Parsons.

ouryve · 09/08/2010 15:51

We love it, not just for the sheer geekiness of the cast (Chemist x Software Engineer in this house, so geek is a good word for us), but for Sheldon's wonderful Aspie ways. There's a heck of a lot of that in our family and I love how it's portrayed so naturally. We always get a giggle when we recognise a trait and can say "ah, so and so does exactly that!"
