JJ, seem to remember you were another fan of this fabulous series and thought you would like to know that the movie 'Serenity' is premiering this week in Edinburgh and that the cast is appearing at HMV on Wednesday!!

And I'm in the US at the moment, argh. Here are the first reviews from Ain't It Cool News. I'm looking forward to the movie, but will need to plan ahead and rewatch the series beforehand.

Will be interested to see the reviews from Edinburgh and the previews on 24 Aug in the UK.

Can't wait to see Alan Tudyk (ok, I had to look up his name) again...

Are you also a Buffyverse fan? There were some great threads on here while Buffy and Angel were on TV. In fact it was a Buffy thread that pulled me out of lurking!

If you can get to Edinburgh on Sunday Marthamoo, you can see the movie. There are tickets on ebay.

Bit far for me, I'll wait 'til it meanders its way down to Cheshire. I'm really looking forward to seeing it now - it was such a good series, can't believe they axed it.

I loved Firefly too. (and Buffy & Angel) Don't know anyone else who watches it in RL. Does anyone know when film will get to Birmingham?

Have to say, Mal seems to have reverted to his original pilot episode darkness. I like him better with the wise cracking and actual smiling but I still want to see this movie SO BAD!!!
