First of all they all get dreadful 80's haircuts then poor Hayleys wedding dress looks like a curtain and everyone loves it!! but, mainly, what the hell was Gail wearing tonight? that blouse, was it a blouse?? from the victorian era, did it have buttons or a zip up the back? I was crying with laughter.

Agreed! Was going to comment to dh about that blouse but was too busy enjoying nigel havers' performance.

In real life he is 60. He is sooo charming. I can't remember the last time I had a chance to lust during Corrie.

I said the same thing about Gail's blouse! And Deirdre's outfits, always tight sweaters with a belt combo makes her erm stomach stand out a bit.

Deirdre's outfit's are gross! She always emphasizes her big tummy. Why? Look out for her when she wears wide low necklines too(don't think she has for a while though). They show off her third nipple!

Nah, he's too busy weedling his way into audrey's bank account. What a fab character he is though - one of the most likeable villains yet?

He and Deirdre were hilarious, hamming it up perfectly tonight: "sugar? Or are you sweet enough?" "oh I hope so". "oh I knooooooow so". Rofl.

I thought exactly the same. When Mary did her big reveal of the dress in the camper van I thought it was going to be a 'it's hideous, how do I tell her?' story line but no.

I assumed Gail's Victorian blouse was to flag her Victorian attitude, made her literally buttoned up iyswim. (didn't stop it being hideous though)
