I don't like witnessing cruelty to animals, but I feel it would be more responsible to watch it. Shall we watch it together?

Oh god, I wasn't going to, but it came on after Masterchef-just started and already I'm feeling sick!

thighsmadeofcheddar · 22/07/2010 21:08

I'm watching it. Just blew £600 at the vet last week on my pooch. Not with medivet though.

dustycups · 22/07/2010 21:08

really dont think i can face it, but part of me wants to!

Saltire · 22/07/2010 21:09

I saw the opening credits and wasn't sure if I want to watch.

CheeryCherry · 22/07/2010 21:09

Can't do it, sorry.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/07/2010 21:11

nope, can't watch it

StableButDeluded · 22/07/2010 21:12

Oh, no. Cats. This will upset me.

Saltire · 22/07/2010 21:15

OH MY GOD

I am so shocked at the poor Setter, I don't think i can watch anymore. When I think ofour poor wee pup (at the time) spending 4 days/nights in a veterinary hospital when he broke his leg, I would be devastated if he had been treated like that

StableButDeluded · 22/07/2010 21:17

Oh no, I'm 5 mins behind you lot cos I had to rewind it on Virgin V+, the setter thing has just started for me. scared now!

StableButDeluded · 22/07/2010 21:19

That's appalling. Those nurses not even intervening.

StableButDeluded · 22/07/2010 21:29

I can't believe the bloke that hit that Shar Pei was not only NOT fired, but has been promoted!

MixedNutPlate · 22/07/2010 21:33

OMG

The secret filmed footage and the Medivet responses to them are crap.

I will be giving them a very wide berth.

StableButDeluded · 22/07/2010 21:35

Totally agree. Thank god we don't have them where I live. Makes you wonder what's going on in ANY vets though.

StableButDeluded · 22/07/2010 21:45

It's ridiculous, Medivets 'explanations' are getting more outrageous by the minute!

They told an owner her dogs foot was cut when she arrived, (when they had done it) and they say she 'was not deceived' WTF!!

The excess insurance claims were 'accidental'
After we've seen footage of the vet clearly explaining how clever they'd been in putting in the claims.

Do they really think those answers are IN ANY WAY acceptable!

OnEdge · 22/07/2010 22:22

Had to tape it in the end, will watch it tomorrow, sounds nasty.
