Does anyone remember what that drama was called?

A couple of years ago (maybe a bit more?) there was this drama on ITV. It was about 3 friends (young women) going to back pack in India. One of them could not make it at the last minute so another friend that they knew less is taking her place.

Very soon into their journey she turns out to be rather bizzare and a bit of a psychopath.

Does anyone have a clue what it was called?

Hi Gorionine,

I actually remember the Drama you're referring to, but I'm racking my brain trying to work out what it was called. If my memory serves me correctly, I think it was called 'A passage to India'?

I'm such a huge fan of ITV dramas and I've watched so many over the years, it's hard to keep track of them all

Oh thanks PBM! it is it!!!

I did not know it had been adapted from a book and I am going to read it instead of trying to find the drama!

You just made my day!

Oh yes, that's the one PBM!

You were right Gorionine,'A Passage To India' was set in a different period, still a great show though.

Are there any other shows you like to watch? I must admit, I'm guilty of being a huge Corrie fan!

I like thing that surprise me. Things were I am thinking I have solved the plot only to realise I was totally wrong!

There was another Drama called "Marian again" that I really loved as well (not sure what chanel it was on). I find British TV things much more interesting than most American ones.

I am not a massive fan of soaps although I will admit that when I first came to England I actually watched religiously every single soap arround to get used to the different accents (yes, even "Brookside" and "Familly affairs")

PBM have you seen the TV version and read the book? Where the two very different?
