Anyone watching? I loved watching Victorian Farm with ds when it was repeated early evenings so I'm looking forward to seeing this.

recorded it but still got to watch it. I loved Victorian Farm as well although I kept shouting for that women (Ruth?) to cut her nails.

Do you remember from years back a series called 1910 and 1940's House which recreated 'life' and furnishing, clothes food etc from that period for a family living there for a month. Fab stuff!

Saw it! Love seeing traditional ways to do and make things, always the best way! They have similar stuff to the traditional medicine made on the show at Napiers, like the cough syrup I use (shop.napiers.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1722). Looking forward to seeing what they do next time!

We loved this...we did both ewwww though at the reuseable purging pill (you know the metal one that...passes through)

OsbegaEthewulf I remember those series!

There was one set in the 1890s (I think) which was a Victorian setting; then one in the 1910s which was a rather posh Edwardian House where one family got to be the "Upstairs" people and everybody else were the servants. The 1940s one was a family where the second world war was re-created. I think that was my favourite because the family were lovely and so enthusiastic about thw project.

Actually I have the books to go with all three. And Victorian Farm which was another favourite of mine.
