where should i take my 13 and 12 year old DDS on Holiday?

My girl's and i are desperate for a bit of sun. Also i need some bonding time with my 13yr old, who doesn't chat to us much any more.Egypt seems quite cheap and the sun is guaranteed, however a friend warned me against taking my daughters there on my own, because they may get unwanted attention. Has anybody else experienced this with their dds? Has anybody got any other holiday ideas which are cheapish and hot?

N.African countries tend to be fine if you stay in resorts, less fine if you go outside. Are you just after sun and a swimming pool or will you feel the need to have an 'authentic' experience?

If I had the money, I would take my dd to Greece!

We just want somewhere hot,some interesting trips and safe for my DDs, so I can relax, read and chat to them. I do love Greece but the weather isnt guaranteed in April.

It wuldn't be my cup of tea, but dss(14) really loved Dubai with his mum. Sun and shops- very teenage!

teenage girls need attention. I have fond memories of being pestered in Italy even when accompanied by boyfriend.

This isn't the good kind of attention though, it's trying to sell you extras when you're on an all inclusive deal, which is what happened to me and my mum when we went to Egypt for my 18th 2 years ago. I had men asking me to marry them as soon as they met me!
