advice on camping party for 17yr old

My daughter is 17 soon.We have a large rough garden and field,and she wants to have a party campout for her birthday -- about 15 friends & a few tents between them,she says they would all stay out of the house.
I'm a horribly anxious person,and I will be worried sick if there are all these youngsters on our patch,They could get into all sorts of predicaments,and I couldnt be a police person & check on them all the time,they are nearly adults after all.We are also in the middle of nowhere,they could all dissappear into the wilderness!
would you say ok, or not, to this? I dont know if my anxiety is reasonable any more.

My son had a camp out for his 16th party. they spent all night talking and kept me awake but at least I knew that they were still in the garden. Our garden backs onto woodland but no harm came to any of them.

I had a camp out myself every year from about age 14, and our house backed onto a park. We had a midnight feast and it was great.I was completely unaware of the problems and risks as the teenager and I had to remind myself of this when I was the mum in charge.

You know if you can trust your daughter to be sensible.

Just check bags for booze and fags on entrance

I'm sure they will be ok-just double check ALL parents know they are on your property and are ok with it.

god yes at 17! they could fight for out country - they can vote next year its plenty old enough

and whats a party without booze at 17?
