He's 12, she's 16 and is not at all amused by this. We keep finding thongs and other various bits stuffed in his pockets and in his pillow case.

I think it's a good idea to avoid making kids feel shame or to repress their experimental. But, as has been exhaustivley pointed out to me, make sure they're aware of the consequences of 'going public' with this sort of endeavour. There's no reason to think that he would of course.
