DD turned 12 in June and is in teen mode already!

Literally happened overnight she now spends as much time as she can get away with shut in her room is door slamming, huffing and puffing argh and I don't have a clue how to deal with it.

She recently started her periods so am guessing the hormones from that aren't helping.

Anyone read any good books on the subject?

Thanks

I have one that was recommended on MN - it's called 'Get out of my life - but first take me and Alex into town' which is very good - even DD thought it was right about most teenage stuff!

I love that title!

I'm going to write one called 'I'm going to straighten my hair every day but never clean my teeth'
