Hi there

Can anyone pls advise as to what brand and style of jeans are good for a 16 yr old boy?
I am fostering a young man fresh from Afghanistan and he needs some new clothes - is very aware that british teenagers seem to be judging him on how he is dressed, which is a totally new concept for him! I only have young girls of my own, so have no experience of whats trendy for lads these days

DS says that brands are 'naff'. He reckons cool is logo free and not identifiable.

bonnyb1 · 11/02/2009 22:25

ok I see.......I was thinking you can't go wrong with Gap?

bonnyb1 · 11/02/2009 23:16

Thanks Herbietea that sounds good. We are going shopping on Saturday, and both those shops are close by. He is really small too, he wears size 10-11!

DS likes TopMan and TKmaxx and H&M stuff.

lazymumofteenagesons · 12/02/2009 17:24

Topman has small sizes (28" waist).
If he's not bothered try H&M boys rather than mens.
My sons (17 and 14) won't wear logos either. Except Levis but they are very expensive, although do not lose their shape as quickly as cheaper ones.
My younger son quite happily buys womens skinny jeans so that they are tighter.

Uniqlo is great. When you're there look for yourself too!
