lonely teenage mums

im an 18 year old with a 3 month old daughter. my partner works full time andi dont have many friends. im always lonely and very depressed.i want to meet other mums in the same situation but everything costs money something which i dont have much of at the moment.i live in sutton in ashfield and would love to hear any suggestions.

have you tried mother and toddler groups, your DD is'nt too young for them, mother and toddler groups are full of mothers in your situation.
I would also suggest sweetheart that you go and visit your GP about feeling depressed for some help.

Also is there a surestart in your area they would help

surestart are really good if you have one in your area. They organise lots of events and they are all free!

Hi - hopefully the surestart programme should be able to help - also, could you mention this to your Health Visitor? She should be able to tell you of Playgroups and Mother and Toddler/Baby coffee mornings in your area.

Also, our local libary has loads of info for new Mums, playgroups etc, might be worth trying yours?
