Ideas for 13-year-old's birthday party over Easter weekend

Over to dd, now 12 for this....

I will be 13 over Easter weekend, and i want to invite 10 girls over, but I can't decide what I should do. All mum's ideas are naff or stupid, i want something which isn't naff but we all can enjoy. There is a Church Hall nearby which we could hire but I'm not sure about that yet.

Any ideas pleasee?

is there a kitchen at the hall? Could you all make your own meal, make table decorations, blow up balloons and eat your meal together?

My dds enjoyed doing this at the house. I think one made pizza with chocolate brownie for pudding, and the other made pizza with meringues and raspberries for pudding.

yes there is a kitchen there, that sounds like a good idea. Does anyone have any ideas for after such as back at the house etc?

thaanks x

don't know whatsort of things you like or where you live so this may be totally wrong - what about facials/massage/beauty stuff - students on local hair and beauiyt courses would prob do it for a small amount as they need the cash and practice.

Thanks bar23 - it's her mum here again now - I'll suggest that to her.

Dh suggested a Tupperware party

  1. Have a Scavenger Hunt. Go out in small groups with a digital camera for each group, a list of things to photo (blue door, trademan's van, someone they know), time limit (1 hour or so). First group back with everything or with the most wins.
  2. Go to the Shops, put into small groups. Give each about £10 pounds and list of things to buy - like cheapest earrings, strangest nailpolish colour, etc. Afterwards go somewhere for a meal (or back to yours) and work out which team did the best. If going back to yours, one thing to buy could be cake/sweets for party later.

I'm having a murder mystery for my 15th next month, if you get it from a charity shop the set can be quite cheap, and everyone has fun dressing up and stuff. Or you could have a 'tea party', sounds old -fashioned i know, but i think would be fun. hope i've helped!
