mumeeee · 01/01/2009 20:01

Kbear · 01/01/2009 20:03

unfitmother · 01/01/2009 20:04

No

katinat · 01/01/2009 20:22

No, mine must be home by 9pm--either I pick her up or another known parent brings her home. She is only allowed out on weekends. Weekdays, only school activities and homework.

No.

I've only got a 13 year old but she doesn't "hang out" with friends at any time of night - or day. She doesn't go out at night unless it is to an event and if she goes out in the day it is to somewhere/thing specific. This won't change when she is 14!

idobelieveinsanta · 01/01/2009 21:37

No..he might be arriving home at 10.45 if he has been out to the under 18 disco, or the pictures though...We live close to both.

But not hanging around the streets.

bagsforlife · 02/01/2009 12:15

No.

pagwatch · 02/01/2009 12:28

No way. Absoloutely no way.

mummyflood · 02/01/2009 12:46

Absolutely no chance. There are plenty of 14yr olds round here though that I have seen, slightly earlier, who are just making pests of themselves to local shopkeepers, etc. Thankfully both of my DS's, 15 and 13, see no sense/point in it.

hercules1 · 02/01/2009 12:48

No.

Tortington · 02/01/2009 12:51

no. but a lot depends on the area and the kid y'know?

i think that there is a big leap from 14 to 15 - they mature a helluva lot. If you were asking this of a 15 yr old son of mine, i would say, yes on occasion, my eldest was out at that time. on occasion.

lilolilbethlehem · 02/01/2009 22:28

Nope. DS is 15 and still wouldn't want him hanging out in the streets at that time.

LollipopViolet · 03/01/2009 21:25

I'm 19 and am usually home by 11 at the latest. Although I do have mates who drive and we always do something!

monty27withbellson · 04/01/2009 01:54

No, 13 yr old boy at home at dark ie 4pm and 15 year old girl, picked up or brought home to door. No hanging around streets.
