I’ve got a request for popular books for this age and looking for some suggestions please. The ones I’ve looked at that seem to be ‘popular’ are

The Inheritence Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Better Than Movies by Lynn Painter
The Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

its an anonymous request through a charity so I don’t know the girl to know which genre.

Those four are all strong picks for that age. Holly Jackson is everywhere with teen girls right now. If you want a couple more safe bets, We Were Liars by E Lockhart and One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus work well when you do not know the reader’s taste.

The Hunger Games series has been popular with my dd.

Can they have a book token to choose for themselves? That way you avoid getting them ones they already have?
