What TV programmes do your 11-13 year olds watch?

OK, have managed to keep DD1 to a diet of CBBC up to now, but she will be 11 next month and off to secondary school in September so not for much longer.
What do your 11-13s watch and how do you supervise their viewing?

DD 10 (11 september) likes that as well.

Both DD and DS 12 love Top Gear, Doctor Who, Celebrity Masterchef, Apprentice,Simpsons, Disney Channel and talent shows.

DD also likes nature programmes like Meercat Manor and Lemur Street

DS also likes anything science fiction, House and Family Guy

DSs aged 13 and 14 particularly like

I have recently allowed them to start watching Little Britain, but I don't really approve!

DS1 CSI, The middle, the Simpsons.

DS2 11 - QI, any programme about the solar system, stars and galaxies, the Simpsons

DD (11) loves Top Gear and QI, also (bizarrely) Grand Designs, Relocation Relocation and those rubbishy Police Camera Action type things. And a bit of Blackadder if she can find it but it is occasionally a bit too near the knuckle for my liking.

Also likes: Dr Who, Merlin, Robin Hood
All those Disney Channel programmes (has to watch them at a friends) iCarly, Wizards of Waverly Place, Suite Life etc etc

Plus endless anodyne pop videos on Pop Girl channel.

This thread is two years old, a bit out of date. I was christywhisty then and my DD is now 13!

It is still interesting to see what other kids are watching though.

DS is 12 and loves Simpsons, Top Gear, Dr.Who, Q.I, Have I got news for you, Bainiac, Mythbusters, NCIS. He loves
watching comedy acts and also into watching football and music channels.

dd1- Just 11 so watching with interest.
She is still on CBBC , Dr who, Strictly but she isnt a massive tv fan. dd2 will be the one to watch on this front although her favourite things at the moment are grand Designs and Location.
