Has anyone with an older teen gone through The CAS mental health clinic?
dd saw a gp last year when she was struggling with her social anxiety. Was referred to CAHMs but this wasn’t followed up as her need wasn’t considered great enough. Gp did say that medication may help but couldn’t prescribe as she wasn’t 18. Things did improve over the next few month but with exams around the corner and stress of next steps things are escalating again. She is struggling with stomach issues and becoming unmotivated and generally not herself. Requested an appointment with the gp (done online) but surprisingly been offered a telephone appointment with th CAS mental health clinic. Has anyone gone through this process? Did it help?
