DD13 very emotional and cries daily - is this normal?

DD is 13 and still has not started her period. I think it’s on its way as she is displaying signs, however she is VERY emotional. Yesterday she ‘hated’ all of her teachers - they are unfair, her friends are leaving her out and she is just “done”. This is not normally her, she used to love school. Her friendship group has ups and downs, but nothing out of the norm and no bullying has gone on. I’m hoping it’s just the oestrogen surge changing her body, however I was not expecting this.

Has anyone else experienced similar? I don’t know whether to use the school wellbeing service or to see how it goes over the next few months.

100% normal. Highly likely her body is gearing up for a period.

I don't think a single day went by where I didn't sob my heart out when I was that age.
