My 13yr old has just started her periods. The first day was surprisingly heavy and she bled through a pair of Modibodi pants in around 4 hours. She had a spare pair so got changed at school when she realised and also stuck a sanitary pad on top. Needed to change again when she got home. She wore the pants overnight
with a pad and no leaks so she’s gone off to school today with the pants/pad combo and plans to remove the pad at lunchtime. Thankfully she’s at a girls school and they don’t restrict toilet access, so things can be sorted quickly if needed. I am hoping things will settle down and the flow won’t be as heavy.
My question is about pads. The pads she has (teen lil-lets) are slim fit which is good as she’s wearing age 10-12 pants, but the pads seem a bit flimsy. What pads can I get that give a bit more absorbency but still fit her?
