Anyone with insider info on V Levels?

My DS is in year 10 and had been starting to look at computer related and other courses, including A levels, T Levels and Btecs. The local T Level provider isn't great and he has a particular sixth form in mind. He is considering CS A Level but may get grades slightly better suited to a vocational qualification or a combination. Saw some level 3 AAQs that would have been just the ticket. But as a 2027 starter they may be scrapped by then. Anyone know anything about the new VLevels that are set to come in? Will they be with established exam boards etc? Are universities likely to accept them if he decides to continue studying with something computer related? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if the v levels have been finalised but If you google v levels there’s information available like this site: educationhub.blog.gov.uk/2025/10/new-v-levels-and-post-16-qualifications-explained/

Thanks. Have read this and the other info that's available online but doesn't answer my questions unfortunately. Was hoping someone in the sector had some additional info.

You could try the Further Education board, or the Education one.
I haven't looked into V levels. I don't know why they had to mess about so much with BTECs tbh.
