Gap Year Jobs abroad

DD17 wants to take a gap year with a view to this becoming self sustaining rather than going to uni. She’s really keen to work abroad/travel but I have no idea how to help her find work. She won’t be 18 until late November which does seem to be an issue for work abroad prior to this. Anyone gone through this with their teen able to give me some pointers. She can speak some French (Higher level), ride a horse well, intermediate skier, has cafe/barista experience and some sailing though no qualification. She’s been involved with Scouting including volunteering and international camps for 10 yrs so is confident in groups and pretty adaptable and resilient.

Start working out which part of the world?
If she is only British EU won't be an option.

why is turning 18 in November an issue? Is she leaving school age 17?

Camp America?

if she could get her sailing qualifications she could get a job teaching at Mediterranean resorts etc.

When she’s been looking the opportunities all say 18+. She will have completed school and still be 17.5 which isn’t uncommon in Scotland.

Ah I see. Yes I think she will struggle for work abroad until she’s 18. Does she have a non UK passport?

Maybe look at the jobs at Kandersteg: https://www.kisc.ch/job-vacancies

Does she have an EU passport, because that will make work in Europe much easier?
