Sorry I feel that this sort of thing is posted a lot but I can’t find the answer I’m looking for. My son had a Samsung phone and family link was good to manage his phone time but he is now on iPhone and it doesn’t work. I know that I can set up limits on his phone using the screen time section and a password he doesn’t know but I need something so I can access it remotely.
with family he would earn extra screen time and I would add it on when he had earnt it but I can’t find a way with iPhone that we can do this. I’ve trialed not doing this but now he won’t get up in a morning, isn’t brushing his teeth, is sitting on his phone for hours after school and not getting ready or doing homework and he won’t go to bed on time at night ( it does put the phone away at 9) but when screen time is an incentive he will do those things no problem.
does anyone know anyway we can do this with iPhone? It’s driving me mad pestering every day.

It’s more complicated on iPhone. Do u have an iPhone? If so, First you have to set him up as a family member. Once u do this he will appear in settings u can tap on his name and set up screen time from there. I phone also has a concept of down time. So for example u can enable him 3 hours of time on apps and also set downtime so he has to use those 3 hours before 9pm
